Pregnancy is a time where the body undergoes many physical and chemical changes. These changes can often result in discomfort and pain. Chiropractic care during pregnancy can reduce neurological interference resulting in improved function and reduced pain to provide for a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Cassie has a special interest in pre-conception, prenatal, and postpartum chiropractic. She has received additional training through the ICPA to provide specific care for practice members. She also holds a certification in Webster Technique. Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic evaluation and adjustment used to reduce sacral dysfunction and promote balance within the pelvis and its surrounding soft tissues in pregnant women. A balanced pelvis promotes proper neurological and biomechanical function which may have a positive effect on the causes of difficult labor (dystocia).
